MetaChara Update:
Transition to Full On-Chain Operation
Thank you for using MetaChara.
MetaChara, operated by Animoca Brands Inc., will update its service operations from April 2026 and plans to fully migrate character NFTs and related data on-chain.
As part of this change, some existing features will be discontinued, and the service will continue in the following form.
■ Features available from April
- AR photo feature
- Outfit/parts switching within AR using the parts you own
■ Features to be discontinued
- Physical product ordering via “Burn”
Wallet Registration Required (Important)
Currently, MetaChara manages product information on our servers. With this operational change, we will switch to a model where you directly hold NFTs in your own wallet (EOA: Externally Owned Account).
Therefore, during the period below, please connect and register your wallet from your MetaChara My Page.
【Wallet Registration Period】
February 2026 – March 29, 2026 (Sun)
- NFTs (“Base NFT” and “Parts NFT”) will be minted later to the wallet address you register during this period.
- If registration is not completed within the period, you will not be able to carry over the products you currently own.
- Only one wallet can be registered per user.
About Physical Product Orders
Applications for physical product orders will be closed on March 22, 2026 (Sun).
If you own items that include physical-production fees, please complete your order by the deadline.
*Requests after the deadline cannot be accommodated in principle.
